I’m currently working on Passions from a philosophical and psychological angle. It lends itself to similar conclusions which ultimately rest in virtue and grace for proper regulation. Passions themselves are good in man but are experienced in a fallen way which is not a good. The passive dimension has more to do with the transmutation in the body, than any defect in the soul.
